  • Prototyping Partner

    Do you have the idea but not the skills to build out the prototype? The on-demand session connects you with our prototyping partners to understand the early prototyping strategies for your idea. Eventually, you can determine how best to build your first prototype and use it in your validation process.

  • Legal Clinic

    Are you confused with the legal considerations of incorporating a company? We provide startups in our ecosystem access to professional legal services for consultation. These consultations are tailored to your specific problem and aim to help provide the direction you can move your team forward.

  • IP Clinic

    We partner with IPOS (Intellectual Property Office of Singapore) to offer IP clinics. These private consultations facilitate your understanding on how you could protect your product and design.

  • Investment Clinic

    Review SAFE, Convertible Notes, IRR, and Pre/Post-Money. If you are unfamiliar with these items on your term sheet, you may need a session with our investment team. The session will help you understand these investment fundamentals and the implications.

Business Innovation Incubation 1.605A

This 102 sqm co-working space is conveniently located near the campus centre and cohort rooms where aspiring student and alumni entrepreneurs can pop by to work on their ideas and have quick team huddles.

Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) Incubation 1.705A

Impact ventures face a unique set of challenges requiring a different business approach. Our Impact focused incubation facility brings together impact ventures from the various SUTD program to work under a common space to promote sharing of ideas, networks, and partnership opportunities.

Hardware Incubation + Makerspace EC Center

Affectionately known as the “Entrepreneurship Center”, this 500 sqm incubation facility is an entrepreneur’s dream garage. It houses a mini makerspace and has become a testbed for prototyping and innovations where 3D printing technology, design thinking and engineering skills come together.  There is also an adjoining versatile event space and outdoor area.

  • Yes, we welcome you to join the SUTD startup ecosystem.

  • Startups should not have a proposed business idea that falls under the list provided below

    • Cafes, restaurants, night clubs, lounges, bars, foot reflexology, massage parlours, gambling, prostitution, social escort services, employment agencies (including recruiting foreign work permit holders and workers/support staff, relocation services, and manpower services), and geomancy.

  • We have a range of programmes that are open to all aspiring founders. Founders can tap on our network of mentors, industry experts and investors.

  • We have a range of programmes and incubation-exclusive events that are open to all incubatees. Incubatees can also tap on our network of mentors, industry experts and investors. We have heard that the number-one-most-beneficial resource is the network access and guidance that we provide to our incubatees, which have considerably shaped and driven their start-up development.

  • At SUTD, students are encouraged to participate in a myriad of activities to broaden their horizons and expriences. If there is a need, we can help you publicise employment opportunities through our channels and network. Through participating in our programmes, you will also have the opportunity to meet with SUTD students and alumni.
